This 58-year-old woman underwent upper and lower blepharoplasty combined with an endoscopic brow lift — together representing complete periorbital rejuvenation. The endoscopic brow lift can be thought of as an upper facelift, and is also referred to as an upper ponytail lift. All incisions are hidden within the hair. The technique I use involves five incisions; the two over the temples allow significant elevation of the upper lateral cheek tissue, which can complement a facelift beautifully — and when done alone, can create meaningful changes extending into the midface in select patients. In addition to being a facial aesthetic plastic surgeon, I hold additional training and certification in oculoplastic surgery. She is seen here at four months following her surgery.
