As a medical student and prior to entering his residency program in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Weinfeld spent two years of intensive scientific research in Houston, Texas focused on the field of tissue engineering and fat graft biology. In 1997, he presented his important findings to a distinguished audience at the annual meeting of the AICE.
