Patient Story: 

This patient is a woman in her late forties.  She is married and has relatively young children.  She had always felt that she look tired and older then her chronologic age and older then she felt.  She did a significant amount of internet research prior to visiting Dr. Weinfeld . She understood that she was on the younger end of spectrum for women who undergo facelifts.  However, prior to seeing the Doctor, she had made the decision to have a facelift/necklift , in addition to quadrilateral blepharoplasty(bilateral upper and lower).  Dr. Weinfeld discussed his philosophy on facelifts in the younger population.  His principals are the following:  1) patients need to be emotionally prepared and fully committed, 2) there needs to be an aesthetic problem that  can be fixed with a facelift, 3) the facelift  is a nuanced procedure where the improvement in profoundly natural and naturally profound, and 4) the signs of a procedure (such as scars, etc.) are mitigated with precise execution so as to keepthem at a minimum .  She underwent the procedure and has never looked back.  She has been very pleased with her results, especially with the fact that her close friends say that she looks different, more youthful, and well rested, but don’t know that she had surgery unless she tells them.
